Bada Bagh or ( bara baag) Cenotaphs - We were travelling to Ramgarh (Rajasthan) from Jaisalmer. About 5 or 6 kilometers from Jaisalmer, we saw these beautiful cenotaphs and we immediately asked our driver to take us there. These are royal cenotaphs of members of the royal family of Jaisalmer State. When we reached the entrance, we were surprised that the parking lot was empty and there weren't any Tourists. We were happy about it. We were told that tourists usually come to Jaisalmer for enjoying the desert safari, folk dance and dinner, camp fires and Camping in the desert. Many miss this marvel - Bada Bagh cenotaphs. All the cenotaphs have the names of the rulers mentioned on them. Walking around this place, one can marvel at the beautiful architecture. The entry fee is INR 20 for Indians and about INR 100 for the camera. It is really worth paying the fee for the camera. We were there during sunset and it was really very beautiful. The bast part was that there were not many tourists and you could enjoy a beautiful calm sunset. It was really worth visiting the Bada baag Cenotaphs.
